Impact XT gives you tons of options in terms of tuning the sounds over a wide range, altering ADSR envelopes and filtering etc. I prefer addictive for my personal work, and live tracking for more serious stuff. Superior also requires some general audio knowledge in order to completely take advantage of it. You could use Impact XT with something like ATOM as the control surface for programming the grooves.
